Welcome to the home of the College of Charleston Baseball Team! We've joined the fight against childhood cancer with the Vs. Cancer Foundation to help kids beat cancer right here in Charleston, SC.

We will be raising money all season, both before and after the game on April 19th. The game itself is on a Saturday at 3:00 pm and the Cougars will be taking on James Madison. Directly following the game, College of Charleston baseball players, coaches and staff will shave their heads in an effort to raise money.

Where does the money go?

All money raised will go to a local organization called the Hugs for Harper Endowment.

Harper Elizabeth Drolet, in October of 2009 at the young age of 9 was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a very rare form of pediatric soft tissue cell cancer. Harper received two years of aggressive treatments battling the disease. She endured numerous surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation treatments and many extended stays in the hospital. Harper lost her battle at the age of 11 on September 30th, 2011. Her legacy lives on through the Hugs for Harper Endowment.

The Hugs for Harper Endowment is a foundation established in Honor of Harper Elizabeth Drolet. The purpose for the Endowment is to raise money and provide grants to a local medical research center inspiring to find a cure for soft tissue cell cancer. The Endowment will also provide grants to other local organizations or charities Harper supported. The Endowment's specific purpose is to provide funds to pay for a full time research scientist annually.
